Rebecca is a partner at Gilberts, providing a full range of accounting, tax and advisory services to a variety of clients, including owner-managed businesses, UK subsidiaries of international groups and not-for-profit organisations. Having begun her career at Gilberts in 2018, she qualified as a chartered accountant in 2022 and has since progressed to partner, building broad experience across the firm’s client base along the way.

Rebecca supports clients with a full range of services across every aspect of their financial affairs, from year-end accounts and statutory compliance to corporation tax, capital gains tax and self-assessment. She also provides outsourced finance support to businesses that need experienced financial oversight without the cost of a full in-house team. Combining strong technical knowledge with a practical understanding of how her clients’ businesses operate, Rebecca gives clear, considered advice that helps them stay compliant, understand their numbers and make well-informed decisions. Her approachable, thorough style means clients see her as an adviser they can turn to throughout the year, not just at year end.

Audit is a key part of Rebecca’s work. She has extensive experience of statutory audit across a wide range of sectors, from single companies to groups, including entities that are part of international groups and not-for-profit organisations. She works closely with management and finance teams to keep the audit process efficient and well communicated. Where issues arise, she helps clients to put practical improvements in place, so each audit leaves their finance function in a stronger position.

Within the firm, Rebecca plays an active role in practice management, including Gilberts’ adoption of AI tools to improve efficiency and quality. She is committed to developing the next generation of accountants and is closely involved in training the firm’s trainees and junior staff, supporting them as they build their technical and client skills.
