Billy Griffiths is a trainee accountant at Gilberts and is in the second year of training towards the ACA chartered accountancy qualification. He works across audit, accounts and personal tax returns, helping the firm’s clients, from small and medium-sized businesses and owner-managed and family firms to private individuals, stay on top of their finances.
Billy joined Gilberts in August 2025 after moving down from Manchester. He studied Economics and Finance at Newcastle University.
Outside work, Billy is a keen rugby player. He was part of the Sale Sharks academy, played for Newcastle University’s first team while he was a student and now plays for St Albans RFC, so you may well see him on the pitch.
